Information is collected from our users at several different points throughout our website. We use their contact information to send communications about our company and services as well as information regarding their existing account. Users may opt-out of receiving this information. Information regarding a user’s hardware and software is automatically collected by SchoolsK-12.com and may be shared with a third party for traffic analysis and website improvement purposes. This information is not personally identifiable.
SchoolsK-12.com deposits cookies on users’ hard drives. A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's hard drive containing information about the user. By setting a cookie on our site, the user does not have to log in a password more than once, thereby saving time while on our site. If a user elects to use our referral service for informing a friend about our site, we will ask them for the friend's name and email address. SchoolsK-12.com will automatically send the friend a one-time email inviting them to visit the site. Schools K-12 stores this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time email. The friend may contact Schools K-12 at information@SchoolsK-12.com to request the removal of this information from our database.

Notification of Changes
When a user chooses a password for their Profile, the password is stored on a password protected server. However, when the user sends their password across the Internet to Schools K-12, there is a very slight possibility that an experienced hacker could steal the password by sniffing the line on the user’s property or somewhere between the user's property and our server.
Schools K-12 cannot ensure that all of your private communications and other personally identifiable information will never be disclosed in ways not otherwise described in this Privacy Agreement. As required by law, we may be forced to disclose information to the government or third parties under certain circumstances. While we utilize commercially reasonable security measures, third parties may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications.
In the event that Schools K-12 or all of its assets are acquired, customer information, including any visitor information collected through the site, would be one of the transferred assets.
